Claudio Vazquez was born in Geneva, Switzerland. He lived in France until 1982 when he moved to the United States to pursue his art studies. Vazquez graduated from the Corcoran College of Art + Design in Washington DC. Since then he has been working as a commercial photographer. His clients include advertising agencies and magazines nationwide. Vazquez received the Best of Show Award at the Washington Addys for his outstanding advertising photography. His photographs of objects left at the Vietnam Memorial were published in a book titled, “Offerings at the Wall. ”
Claudio Vazquez' fine art photography has been represented by the Kathleen Ewing Gallery since 1987.
Vazquez’ photographs were acquired by the The Tampa Museum of Art in Tampa, Florida.
